Dingle Fingle At The Caton Gala!
Caton Gala is a traditional village festival which takes place on the Station Hotel sports field on the second Saturday of June each year. It is a value for money fun day out for all the family, gate fee is £4.00 per adult and kids go free (under 14). The day starts at 11.30 with the floats leaving the top of Brookhouse village, arriving at the main field in Caton at 12.00 noon where the Gala fun & attractions will commence.
The crowning of the Gala Queen is then followed by children’s races, music and entertainment.
Caton Gala is over 100 years old & attracts thousands of people each year from the Caton, Brookhouse & Lune Valley community and further afield.
Among entertainment such as Bird of Prey displays, the Windmill Race, a Classic Motorcycle Display, and the Batala Drummers, Dingle Fingle will be there with the Clown Town Crime Watch in pursuit of Slippery Sid who has been sighted in the area.
Slippery Sid has been selling classic cars, having rigged them to break down so he can steal them from underneath their owners noses.
You will be helping the Dingle Fingle and the Clown Town Crime Watch because they really need your help!
In this all action packed show, see the car drive by itself, witness break away doors, horns, water jets, ejector seats, explosions, and smoke galore. Featuring two mad cap stunt clowns, moving car stunts, quad stunts, drifts, donuts, precision driving, and high speed crosses. Not forgetting to mention the 30 gallon water cannon!
