Pent up clown (maybe no longer) in lockdown
This week I was fortunate to get the chance to go and play!
Well it is my work to play after all, but that been stymied by the quandaries of quarantine!
I can tell you – after many days of no performances, it felt like I could finally sleep soundly again.
The job in question – rather, a gesture in kind – was for my son’s last day at his Primary school (HOW do they grow up so fast?!)
It was such an almost unparalleled pleasure to entertain the Mums and Dads of Group 8 that had gathered for the arrival of the party boat, which had taken the 31 strong class on a boat trip – or to put it another way – a four hour music thumping journey around the Canals of our local area in Holland.
They did manage to to fit in a stop off for some sightseeing and play activities, to excitedly return to a cheering group of parents and a fire performance from me – Dingle Fingle!
